That's why BlueScope Lysaght guarantees that all of its steel products are made from 100 per cent Australian steel, from BlueScope Steel. And that's why we use only premium quality brands such as COLORBOND® steel, ZINCALUME® steel, TRUECORE® steel, DECKFORM® steel and GALVASPAN® steel.
BlueScope Steel is an acknowledged world leader in the field of coated and painted steels. Its comprehensive testing, especially for durability under Australian conditions, has produced steels backed by strong warranties which are a feature of LYSAGHT® products.
The LYSAGHT® range has continued to expand, with innovative products creating fresh opportunities for better aesthetics and improved construction efficiency.
With BONDEK®, BlueScope Lysaght opened up new possibilities for concrete slab construction. With the KLIP-LOK® profile it introduced the clean looks of concealed fix roofing and with curved purlins and tapered cladding it ushered in bold new shapes for building envelopes.
Despite its extensive range of standard products, BlueScope Lysaght recognises that many projects call for individual solutions which may include custom components or non-standard colours and material specifications. LYSAGHT® production facilities are set up for maximum flexibility to ensure short lead times in such cases.
BlueScope Lysaght also maintains an active research and development program at its own NATA accredited facility and partners with major tertiary institutions in the search for innovative steel building products.
New products are only introduced after exhaustive testing to confirm their durability and following field trials in the hands of the building trades who will use them. Comprehensive performance data and installation documentation is available for all LYSAGHT® products.
