Product Description and Features
LYSAGHT TOPSPAN® 120 light steel sections are an economical lightweight solution to affix roofing and walling. Strong and rigid, LYSAGHT TOPSPAN® 120 is maintained even when lapped because the profile permits a precise, snug lap without the need to deform the section's shape.
- Can be used as an alternative to light gauge purlins and girts (steel or timber)
- Won't burn, warp, twist, splinter or rot and it won't be attacked by termites
- Versatile, economical, easily handled and stored simply by stacking
- Can be mounted directly onto rafters or against columns without the use of cleats or bolts.

How far can LYSAGHT TOPSPAN® 120 be cantilevered?
The size of the cantilever is 10% of the adjacent internal span or 500mm whichever is the lesser. Please note that the LYSAGHT TOPSPAN® 120 must be one continuous length from internal span to the end of the cantilever.
Can LYSAGHT TOPSPAN® 120 be used in cyclonic areas?
Yes. However, specific fixing requirements will need to be met. Please contact us for more information.
Is LYSAGHT TOPSPAN® 120 available in custom cut lengths?
Yes, though for detailed availability you should refer to your local BlueScope Lysaght branch or distributor. Generally it is sold as stock lengths of 7500mm. Please contact us for more information.
