Product Description and Features

The LYSAGHT EASYCLAD® wall cladding is a stylish solution for both interior and exterior steel walling applications. Simple clips are used for fixing the start of the first sheet, subsequent sheets are nailed or screwed.

Can be used for walls, ceilings, infill panels and sections
Versatile panels can run vertically or horizontally
Wide range of trim sections and accessories
High impact resistance due to profile strength
Panels can run vertically or horizontally.

Note:

LYSAGHT EASYCLAD® is only suitable in for use for walling in non-cyclonic areas
Not intended for roofing

Can LYSAGHT EASYCLAD® be used in a ceiling application?

Yes, it can. Consideration should be given to minimise the sag and thus the support spacing should be limited to 900mm spacing and it may be necessary to have additional fasteners in the pans.

What is the longest length of LYSAGHT EASYCLAD® that I can order?

Wall cladding profiles are not as robust as roofing profiles and thus need to be limited in length to minimise the possibility of damage due to handling. Thus the length available in LYSAGHT EASYCLAD® is limited to 9000mm.

What is cladding and how does it relate to roofing and walling?

Cladding is a collective term for any sheeting that covers a building, whether it be on the roof of the building, or on the walls. Roof cladding is made from thicker steel and is rolled to a profile capable of supporting roof traffic*. In most cases, these roof claddings can also be used for walling as well. Wall cladding is made from thinner steel, rolled to a less rigid profile. They are generally not capable of supporting roof traffic, prohibiting their use as roofing.

*Some roofing is designed to be non-trafficable. Please consult the span and capacity tables of the cladding for further details.
