Product Description and Features

LYSAGHT TOPSPAN® 96 light steel sections are an economical lightweight solution to affix roofing and walling. Strong and rigid, TOPSPAN® 96 sections may be used in many applications as alternatives to light gauge purlins and girts (steel or timber).

• Can be used in many construction projects such as sheds, carports and garages, or for racking, fencing or handyman applications
• Won’t burn, warp, twist, splinter or rot and it won’t be attacked by termites
• Easily handled and stored simply by stacking
• Its shape means it can be mounted directly onto rafters or against columns without the use of cleats or bolts

Material Specifications

LYSAGHT TOPSPAN® 96 light steel sections are made from ZINCALUME® aluminium/zinc alloy coated steel complying with AS1397 G550, AZ150 (550 mpa minimum yield stress, 150 g/m² minimum coating mass). Available in 0.75mm, 1.0mm and 1.2mm BMT.
