BlueScope’s steel building products business, Lysaght, has developed a major advancement for its popular TRIMDEK® steel roofing. LYSAGHT TRIM-KLIP™ is an innovative expansion joint system for use between overlapping sheets of LYSAGHT TRIMDEK®.
The TRIM-KLIP™ system comprises a fully engineered steel bracket and a custom profiled weather strip. The TRIM-KLIP™ bracket is sandwiched between the overlapping sheets at the ribs and is fixed using standard pierce-fixed screw fasteners.
The system maintains clean, long run roof lines, and is the cost effective way to achieve a long-length roof design, even when using shorter roof sheets.
