To provide temporary protection during production, handling, and transport, some COLORBOND® steel products are coated with a plastic called CORSTRIP®. This coating peels off easily when new, but it has a relatively short life, especially in sunlight. If you don’t remove this coating at the time of installation, you may find it very hard to remove later. Please dispose of the plastic in an environmentally responsible manner.
